0We are in the tense wait for a possible Apple event just around the corner. The protagonist, will undoubtedly be IOS 5 and their various developments, but also expects the Cupertino company finally we present the next evolution of mobile phones: The new iPhone 5.
Virtually every day we learn more rumors about possible new moving company on the block, though its features not only be surprising: They should also be useful to users. Therefore, the question this week revolves around this idea:
“What should be the new iPhone 5 to change for your existing phone?”
To discuss this issue exclusively use our section Applesfera Answers, a perfect place to share our view and read the rest of the readers voting for that which we like. On Monday, in this section, we will post the most voted answer.
The question last week
Seven days ago we also talked a topic related to that of today (note that there are like keynote), and is nothing more nor less than who will present:
”Who will be the master of ceremonies at the keynote presentation the next iPhone? The question of the week”
The next most popular response has been to our reader Maximus, who have answered something we all like to see:
”Tim Cook will present and FaceTime to make a call from the iPhone Steve Jobs 5.”
You see, something not unreasonable for what usually happens in these events. If you remember, the first public call was made from an iPhone from Steve Jobs Jonathan Ive, the original iPhone keynote January 9, 2007. FaceTime also has used other Apple bigwigs presentations, so this would be a funny and curious about the possible new event.

What is Behind the Success of the iPhone?
0As many know, yesterday began selling the iPhone in our country. Once again Apple has managed to mobilize hundreds of people, including several celebrities, to the dealers to the big evening sale of the new iPhone.
Unofficially it is said that the new iPhone has sold more units than its predecessor, which leaves us all with a question: What’s behind your success? Could it be for his new pair of cameras, dual-core processor or thousands of applications available? I think not and here show what I think is the secret behind the success of iPhone 2, and in general, most Apple products.
iPhone 4 Construction Quality
If there is something that Apple has carved out a reputation is built on the quality of their equipment. There have been many cases of Macs that resist drops many feet or, more recently, the iPhone 4 who survived a fall of 300 meters.
Lately though the build quality of Apple hardware has fallen (iMacs with defective GPU, the AntennaGate sounded, and something more personal, my MacBook has gone for repair twice in his birthday), the Apple brand has been linked to most of the population as a trusted, whose products are not usually cause problems.
Thus, the iPad inherits the reputation of Apple and one to buy a iPhone can be sure that you have the “Apple quality” and therefore unlikely to be a defective product.
Ease of use
Another factor influencing the success of Apple products is their ease of use. As an example I put the iconic “click wheel” of iPods: the most confusing controls music players used to play music, Apple came up with this new concept which, among other factors, drove sales of the iPod into the player musical excellence.
Having learned a product Apple sells more user friendly than one with a thousand functions cumbersome, in 2007 introduced the iPhone with iPhone OS (now IOS), which became a hit for the same reason that the iPod: while most other smartphones using Windows Mobile and Palm OS operating systems that were very full but nothing intuitive, Apple introduced a different concept which sacrificed so customization terminal to make it easy to use, that captivated thousands of people and introduced them to world of smartphones.
History repeated itself in 2010 with the presentation of the iPad. Although he could have provided Apple Mac OS X as many expected, but the Cupertino company ultimately decided by IOS. The reason is simple: there TabletPCs and had spent years in the market but had failed mainly because an operating system designed for conventional computers, which made them slow and difficult to use. In contrast, Apple’s tablet IOS promised to be fast, lightweight, with very good battery life and, especially, easy to use. Its ease of use made them become the best selling tablet so far and redefine the market for tablets. Now instead of using a conventional operating system like Windows or Linux, tablets manufacturers are opting for mobile operating systems like Android, webOS or Meego.
Promotion
If there is something you can praise of Apple is its fantastic marketing team, thanks to which has created several gems of marketing. Apple commercials are made so that all the good teams are highlighted, in a way that seems “perfect” their equipment.
And not only is the advertising itself. Another thing Apple has done well to position their products in the media. Simply turn on the TV and watch a movie or American series to see the work that Apple has made entering the means: there are few movies / series where there is an Apple device, be it iPhone, Mac, iPhone or iPod.
Like on TV, Apple is very much on the Internet. Many sites are dedicated to reporting exclusively on Apple, and many more are also those who speak of the company but not exclusively. Also, Apple has a strong presence in social networks. As a result, many Internet users that are unfamiliar to most of the technology they learn the new releases from Apple as well as many other news that revolve around the company. This leads consequently to the last and most important point which I believe Apple products become successful.
Apple is ‘cool’ and AWESOME!
This is because most celebrities do not know whether or not sponsored by Apple using Apple products. And as the celebrity uses, many of their fans will too. This feeling of being ‘cool’ is what makes the iPhone 3G and even 3G still sold quite well having the hottest smartphone market at lower prices. History repeats itself with the iPhone 2: although there are and will better alternatives for the simple fact of having an apple in his back the will be more likely to be a “best-seller” than other tablets.
Thanks to these four factors, I feel that the iPhone and the iPad 3, 5 and iPhone, and the next iDispositivo be big hits. If anything Apple has taught us is that the success of a product is not in their presentations, but how to sell it. There is no point making a super tablet with lots of RAM, a processor and a thousand antics grand more if you do not know how to sell and attract consumers.

Blackberry, in Freefall as Apple and Android Keep Growing
1Bad times those who live RIM, the company behind the popular Blackberry. The poor reception given his tablet on the market, called Playbook Blackberry has not only confirmed the crisis being experienced by the company. Meanwhile, Apple has gone back to Android continues its momentum and steadily.

Commercial failure. So we could call the first days on the market of the Blackberry Playbook, the tablet with RIM wanted to stand up to Apple and its iPad. In Canada, users responded much less as had happened with the launch last March iPad 2, where they waited in long lines at the mall to get one of these devices.
As we saw days before its release, the poor record sales had been predicted by analysts for the shortcomings of the device. “It’s elegant but flawed and yet offers a secure email service,” said one of them. That has to be connected to a Blackberry handheld for now makes a device with a potential audience too small.
The price of the tablet is also similar to the iPad, when RIM had promised a cheaper gadget and try to stand up to Apple for that edge. The sad results achieved by now had a direct impact on the Nasdaq, down 3% in their actions. Some analysts said the lack of publicity given to the device might have been another cause of these results, noting that by the end of the year RIM will sell 3 million tablets.
The iPad 2, sales leader
Despite being in the millions, these figures are far from the iPad 15 million that were sold in 2010 and the high number of iPad 2 that is expected to sell before 2012. Apple has once again gather momentum and strengthen its leadership with its latest tablet, even though these innovations have not convinced everyone. The thinness of the device is one of its strengths, but have yet to try to get more tablets than stand up to the Apple tablet.
Android is the operating system chosen by other manufacturers to compete with the U.S. company. Google’s platform has a fast pace of growth and to date are activated more than 350,000 terminals worldwide within it. In the market for smartphones, phones like the LG Optimus 2X or expected Samsung S II Galaxy hope to shake the iPhone the easy chair 4, whereas in tablets Samsung also try to do the same with its updated version of Galaxy Tab.
