Is The iPhone OS 4.0 Just A Pale Copy of Android 2.1?
We don’t really know, whether the rumor iPhone OS 4.0 is just a pale copy of Android 2.1 true or not.
Apple introduced iPhone OS 4.0. After unpacking the thing with unsubstantiated speculation of endless rumors, we learned that this Operating System will multi-task in front, new revenue opportunities for developers and better support the business, to name only some new features. What struck on the presentation of Apple, not ingenuity or originality of the new features. No, what struck me is what is presented in this release is simply a carbon copy Android 2.1!
Last year, Icontic had written an article that explored the nature of the rivalry between the big three: Google, Apple and Microsoft. In this article, it shows that Google’s entry into smartphones, followed by the development of Chrome, and the titanic efforts of the business in the cloud and advertising have not only rendered obsolete the presence of Microsoft in these areas but Google has elevated the role of being the old nemesis Microsoft as Apple’s.
Nine months later and the change in 2010, it has never been more obvious that Apple wanted to kill Google, which continues happily in the enviable position to legitimately threaten the expansion of the most lucrative for Apple iPhone . You see, it’s a cold day in hell when Apple deigns to play the game too with another company, it’s a little Mr. Smith in The Matrix. With the iPod and more recently with the iPad, Apple evokes a gigantic loan market very thin, and facing it, leaves companies like Microsoft and HP are struggling to catch up with Zune and Slate.
While the iPhone has taken a similar course since its release in 2007 (everybody now has an App Store, after all), iPhone OS 4.0 has added a feature that virtually all Android currently practicing as an advantage, and few others. It is rather a rare form for a company that regularly attacks its other businesses to the difficulty to provide the innovations that Apple has apparently exposed at every turn. To tell this hypothesis, the following table provides an overview of new features described by Apple in presentation of the OS 4.0 just yesterday, and the status of the Android ecosystem functions.
On the basis of the whole and the evidence, we suggest that it is rather difficult to ignore plagiarism of OS 4, we also find me too I want to put a contract on the face Android. By plunging much further forward in the post-presentation questions and answers, we see several responses that target Apple employees tacitly Google. For example, the objective of management tasks, Jobs said that all companies that manufacture multi-task with a task manager have failed. Guess what Android uses since its inception?
Then, on the topic of advertising, Jobs was clearly enraged that Google is suddenly rushed to buy AdMob. Apple was forced to buy smaller companies Quattro Wireless. Jobs has clearly mentioned that Android is Porn, rather than citing the many amazing applications that have been made possible by an open and free.
