Microsoft has just put online ‘Windows 7 Phone Connector for Mac’, a tool that synchronizes its contents with a Windows iTunes Phone.

As expected, Microsoft has a bridge between the Windows and Mac Phone 7. Users of smartphones driven by the latest mobile OS from Redmond will be able to communicate with the owners of a Mac. What extend trade opportunities for the publisher looking to bounce back in the market for high-end smartphones.

Not Zune client for Mac

The tool, dubbed ‘Windows 7 Phone Connector for Mac’ (still in beta) makes it possible to synchronize multimedia content managed by iTunes and stored on their Mac (photos, music, playlists, videos, podcasts) with a Windows phone. Contact lists are not supported.

The utility seems quite intuitive and effective even if the features of the Zune are not available. It is therefore not a Zune client for Mac, so it is impossible to import the contents of his terminal to his Mac.
