Here is the tutorial for limera1n, Geohot tool to jailbreak the 4.1 version of the iOS.

Warning: Limera1n is in beta and has some limitations (such as lack of désimlockage). It is imperative to make a backup of the iPhone before starting the test. If you depend on the désimlockage (to use your iPhone on another carrier), it is recommended to install the jailbreak but rather wait for the version of the DevTeam or Greenpoison.

Limera1n currently supports the following versions of the iPhone:

iPhone 4 Jailbreak Limera1n
IPhone 4

  • Old and new iPhone 3Gs bootrom
  • IPod Touch 3G and 4G
  • IPad

So there is no support yet for the older versions of the iPhone. Manipulation is possible with 3G, but causes many problems. Manipulation is possible at this time on Windows. Mac and Linux versions should arrive shortly. (more…)
