Apple introduced iPhone OS 4.0. After unpacking the thing with unsubstantiated speculation of endless rumors, we learned that
this Operating System will multi-task in front, new revenue opportunities for developers and better support the business, to name only some new features. What struck on the presentation of Apple, not ingenuity or originality of the new features. No, what struck me is what is presented in this release is simply a carbon copy Android 2.1!
Last year, Icontic had written an article that explored the nature of the rivalry between the big three: Google, Apple and Microsoft. In this article, it shows that Google’s entry into smartphones, followed by the development of Chrome, and the titanic efforts of the business in the cloud and advertising have not only rendered obsolete the presence of Microsoft in these areas but Google has elevated the role of being the old nemesis Microsoft as Apple’s.
