The end of the year is conducive to new versions of mobile platforms: HP unveils WebOS 2.0 smartphone and Palm Pre 2

The operator SFR had inadvertently spilled the beans a few days ago, referring to the Palm Pre 2 on its site but first had to await the primary listing of HP, namely the availability of the platform WebOS 2.0.

As a reminder, WebOS is a Palm OS mobile unveiled by early 2009 and took over the Palm OS Garnet in completely changing thanks to an architecture that showcases the information stored in the cloud (cloud) and providing all the ingredients of a modern platform for smartphones.

Palm Pre smartphones and Palm Pixi were first marketed in the U.S. before being proposed in France via the operator SFR (thanks to agreements signed by Vodafone), which is the sole distributor among three French operators and one of his supporters via contest developers.

Since then, Palm was bought in April 2010 by HP group for $ 1.2 billion, with the idea of using WebOS to spearhead its new mobile strategy, which should cover various products, smartphones with touch pads.
